GIS Exercise 2: QGIS Project Natura 2000

Bei der zweiten Übung ging es darum ein Projekt mit dem Programm Quantum-GIS zu realisieren. Der erste Schritt war das projekt zu erstellen. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass die Karteneinheiten in Meter und die Pfade im Modus "Relativ" eingestellt sind. Die ist notwendig, dass das Projekt auch auf anderen PCs zu öffnen ist. Außerdem sollte der Name "Natura 2000" gewählt werden und als Koordinatensystem die Gauß-Krüger-Zone 2.

Anschließend mussten die Landkreisgrenzen, sowie die Vogelschutz- und FFH-Gebiete in Rheinland-Pfalz in das Projekt geladen werden.

Danach mussten eine Reihe von Layern be gleaden in the project:


- county boundaries of the districts of Birkenfeld and Bernkastel-Wittlich

- Complete Bird Areas that are affected by both counties
-> Replace Select by positions, "the tool used to be.

- Full FFH areas affected by the two counties
-> this must include the tool "Select by positions" are used.

- Bird protection areas or subdivisions within the two counties

As a final step of extensions - a pdf file created by the county> Fast printing -> Quick Print Birkenfeld und Bernkastel-Wittlich als Ausschnitt hat. Dabei sollten die Landkreise in Rheinland-Pfalz auch angezeigt sein. Darüber hinaus sollte die Grafik noch die FFH-Gebite in den genannten Landkreisen mit den Pufferflächen, sowie die TK 100 von Rheinland-Pfalz beinhalten. bei der TK 100 ist darauf zu achten, dass dieser Layer in der Reihenfolge ganz oben liegt und unter dessen Eigenschaften "Kein-DatumWert" auf 0 gestellt wird. Dabei werden nur die schwarzen Flächen angezeigt, sodass keine anderen Layer verdeckt werden.
