Exercise 3 : Design of two postcards with Photoshop

task in the third exercise, it was two postcards from our home design. A postcard should be made objectively and subjectively. The objective was
postcard I thought about it, to make a typical tourist postcard.
I had given five basic images of which I photographed 3 itself. An aerial view of my place, an image of the village fountain, and sign our arms and our 2007 re-designed landmark, the so-called "Ojelmännche" a man plays a barrel organ.

The aerial photo I used as a background image for the bottom. I have separated the lower from the upper area with a blue colored rectangle by me "Greetings from Münchweiler" had entered through the text box. The pictures used of me I've cut out with the help of Polygen Lasso tool, and refined it with the wand. Some here also the eraser was a help. The second postcard should be a subjective account of my home town. And I thought to myself that I try the grievances of my home town in an ironic way and whites show. For I've been first in our town and I've picked out buildings that stand for the maladministration and photographed them.

I also have one more shot with holes and strewn street arranged this perspective on the postcard, which I've added the old building. The background I have with the Gradient tool in black and white designs. The pictures I like the first postcard also cut with Polygen lasso and magic wand. Anschließend habe ich noch ironische Bemerkungen geschrieben, was die Fotos darstellen, um die Missstände hervorzuheben. Desweiteren habe ich die komplette Postkarte in schwarz-weiß gehalten, weil ich glaube, dass die Botschaft so besser rüberkommt. Als letzten Schritt habe ich noch eine reißerische "Überschrift" hinzugefügt.

Exercise 2: Plan Layout - correction

An der ursprünglichen Fassung (siehe hier ) gab es einige Kritikpunkte, die es nun zu verbessern galt.

1.) Der Plan ist nach oben verrutscht:

The problem was relatively easy to fix because it was so in our draft plan that could move the entire colored area and so we had to adjust this only in the prescribed plan.

2) layout (title, scales, layout of the map, north arrow, processing field)

The title was two lines. The problem was quickly resolved and taken the title in a row.

3) Legend

The criticism of the legend was that the distances between the signatures was not uniform and the legend was not aligned on the card:

4) other errors

addition to these points was noch angesprochen, dass in der Legende Bäume und eine Signatur für die Geschossanzahl fehlten. Diese wurden wie bei hier zu sehen hinzugefügt. Außerdem wurden beide Karten an der rechten Seite bündig angeordnet.

Exercise 2: Plan Layout

Die Aufgabe in der 2. Übung war ein Stadtplanerisches Modell und ein Strukturkonzept des Eisenbahnausbesserungswerk Kaiserslautern mit Corel Draw in 2er Gruppen zu bearbeiten. Dazu hatten wir 2 Ausgangskarten, dass Stadtplanerische Modell im Maßstab 1:5000 und das Strukturkonzept im Maßstab 1:2500.
